NOTIFICATION
The 4th October,2002
No.S.O. 80/C.A. 16/1908/Sc.78and 79/2002-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 78 and 79 of the Registration Act,1908 (Central Act 16 of 1908) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, and in suppression of Haryana Government, Revenue Department, notification No.S.O. 131/C.A 16/1908/Ss.78 and 79/2000, dated 13th November 2000, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following amendment in the Haryana Government, Revenue Department, notification No.S.O;27/C.A.16/1908/Ss. 78/79, dated the 17th April,1979, namely:-

In the said notification, in Article 1 relating to registration of documents, in clause (3), after the last proviso, the following proviso shall be added at the end namely:
"Provided further that in respect of an instrument of sale or lease of built up space in Government approved Private Software Technology park or Information Technology Park or Cyber City where such sale or lease is for establishing an Information Technology Industry as detailed in the Schedule annexed to this notification, registration fee shall be exempted at the following rates:-
(i) From the date of publication of this notification.... 90 per centum in the official gazette to 31st December,2003.
(ii) From Ist January,2004 to 30th June,2005---75 per centum
(iii) From Ist July,2005 to 31st December 2006--60 per centum
(iv) Form Ist January,2007 to 30th June,2008---45 per centum
The said exemption would also be available for sale or lease of land in Industrial Estates Development by the State or the Public Sector Organizations where such sale or lease is for establishing an Information Technology Industry.
The said exemption would further be available to an organization in private or public sector, which purchases land for setting up a Software technology park or an Information Technology Park or a Cyber City and for which the required approval has been obtained from the Department of Town and Country Planning, Haryana with the condition that he will pass on this concession to the Information Technology units, which purchase land in the park/city so developed, for setting up of Information Technology units, subjects to necessary safeguards, such as bank guarantee for suitable period of time, so as to misuse of the above incentive. In case, where a party has not obtained the approval of Town and Country Planning Department, it will pay the full amount of registration fee which will be refunded to it after it has obtained the requisite permission of Town and Country Planning Department. The units, which take land or built up space on lease/purchase basis in such park/City would also be entitled to this exemption as mentioned above. However, this exemption would be limited to the first transaction only.
